Albany, NY Driving Tips
Go slow! There are many people walking about in the city and it's easy to miss someone hidden behind a bus or around a corner. Also, do not be intimidated to parking. There is always free street parking after 6:00PM, and it isn't difficult to find a space within reasonable walking distance to your d

Albany, NY Buying Tips
When buying a car, proceed with caution as you would in any other city. There are many dealerships to find exactly what you are looking for, but that doesn't ensure the car is in a better condition than that off of craigslist. My favorite memory of driving in Albany, NY is the very first time I drove to the Empire State Plaza. Getting off of highway 787, you exit onto a long ramp that is more like a bridge towering over all of the other exit ramps for the city. Up high, you can see the Hudson River to your right with beau

Favorite Road
Route 7

Route 7 is so great because part of it is slower and in the suburbs, but then it transitions into the highway. It is very long and allows you to get to where you need to go but also has a nice view of the city. It goes by all the popular stores and passes by a nice, big waterfront area.
