I like how nice it looked and drove. I did not like all the problems it kept having.
Story
I loved when we drove the car from California to Atlanta. It was a smooth ride back home.
Pros
There are so many! Lets start with heated steering wheel, heated seats in the back and front. I could control my own heat. The satellite radio and the touch screen radio. I loved the aisle seats and how if you hit a button on the side panel the 2nd row would role up to make more room or you could take out the third row and lots of trunk space. It also had a sun roof and signals on the side lights. That truck has speed it will go 0 to 100 real quick, and it would not feel like you are going that fast and if people are in the third row it world adjust the weigh of the car in the back. I love... Cons
I hated that both headlights went out and I paid $200 for new headlights and that was not the problem. If I wanted the problem fixed, I would have to pay $900 for brand new headlights. All of this happened in a year time, and I had to get a new alternator, which was very expensive. I didn't like the back windows regulator both had to be replace twice. That was a pain in the butt! Then the truck started have other mechanical problems that was way to much to deal with. I did not like how the inside side trim on both sides in the front console came off and the battery that kept going out if y... (more)

This vehicle is still my pride and joy around town. Plenty of curbside presence/ This is my second Escalade and I continue to be impressed. This is absolutely a car I would recommend to other family or friends. I've owned several luxury SUV's and the 2009 Escalade is an overall more enjoyable vehicle. We currently also own a Mercedes ML500, the Escalade doesn't handle quite as well on cornering but otherwise the Escalade out performs and is everything you could ask for and more. It is very well equipped from a luxury perspective, again comparing it to the ML500 the seats of the Escalade are comfortable but with the ML their are more adjustable area's of the seat so you can form it to your personal shape better. The navigation in the ML STINKS and the Escalade is a dream to use, view, ... (more)
Pros
The responsiveness to pulling a trailer, it's like a different vehicle when you push the trailer button and the transmission begins to work with the load and engine. The hide-a-way running boards are great, Bluetooth connection to my IPhone, Navigation & back-up camera and the overall sport look.
Cons
Improve the adjustment possibilities on the driver seat. Figure out a way to store third row seats in vehicle, mine stay in the garage because they take up to much room while in but not in use. I know it's a big SUV but a couple more MPG would be nice.
