The build of this car is high-tech and high maintenance, but it is very fun to drive.. The sealed transmission requires a specialized fluid, and only certain transmission shops will flush a charger's transmission. The sensors tell you when tires need to be inflated, rotated or if the tread is running thin. The engine requires a special grade of motor oil that is expensive, but it takes more time for the oil to require changing. Besides those high-maintenance pointers, the car accelerates very quickly, and the ride is exceptionally smooth. Driving on the expressway gives me a rush because not only can I go faster than most other cars, but people think I am driving a unmarked police car and they get out of the way or slow down. It is sort of fun, although maybe mean, but hey, I am not ac... (more)
Story
Me and a friend drove 3 hours out the city to visit a military friend and hang out for his birthday. We partied until 6 am, and drove back into town right after. We had so much fun, even though we were very exhausted the next 2 days.
Pros
It has fast acceleration. The brake system is very tight. The seats are comfortable. The car gets great gas mileage, and at $3 a gallon, I can fill up the tank with $35 and ride more than a week. There is spacious leg room in the front and back. My car has both air conditioner and a sunroof, so there are multiple ways to cool off or let air circulate throughout the car. The car rides very smoothly, you hardly feel any bumps in the road.
Cons
The maintenance on the car is quite expensive. The insurance rate is high on the car because its considered a fast driving car. The car requires specific tires in order for the speed calibration to be correct, and those cost $200 each minimum. The Transmission is sealed, and requires a certain oil, which can only be found at the dealership and costs $8 a quart. Because it is sealed, you must purchase a $100 tool just to check the fluid levels, which does not come with the car. The engine and coolant oils are also specialized fluids that can be difficult to find.

I like how sleek and cool it looks, it is definitely a head turner. It also accelerates quickly and smoothly, getting you from one place to another quickly. It also has been very reliable, no major mechanical failures or break downs. I have never driven a car with so much power and force. It does not consume a lot of gas either so that's a huge plus as well
Story
I remember running from a hurricane with my son. We left Virginia and drove to west Virginia so we would be out of harms way. When we tried to check into a hotel, I discovered we didn't have enough money, so we slept in the car overnight until it was time to drive back into town.
Pros
The car accelerates quickly, so you don't have slow take offs or take a long time to get to speed on the interstate. The calibration of it is good because you do not feel the bumps in the road as your ride, just smooth coasting. The car only requires 12 gallons to be filled, and that lasts me a whole week, so it is a true gas saver.
Cons
Everything on this car is specialized, so while the car burns less gas, you will spend more money with maintenance. All the fluids are specialized, in which case, some of them are not easy to find, and when you do find them, they are expensive. Also, the car comes with aluminum lugnuts, which is horrible when you are stuck on the side of the road with a flat. After you take them off a couple time, they strip and are very difficult to get off. Some side of the road assistants wont take them off if they are already stripped, forcing you to call spend more money not just getting the tire fixe... (more)

While a Dodge Charger wasn't something I was looking for, I test drove this SXR AWD vehicle with a V8 Hemi engine in it and I fell in love. The power, the smoothness, the sleekness of the car was amazing. It wasn't what I was expecting out of a Dodge, or a Hemi engine, as I had co-workers who had issues with their Dodge trucks with a Hemi. I was pleasantly surprised when I sat behind the wheel of this car. I was use to driving a Dodge Durango, and sitting up high in the air, but behind the wheel of this car, I didn't feel low to the ground as I felt in previous cars. This little gem was a surprise, and I'm sad I no longer have the car.
Story
This car looks like a lot of vehicles used by police. I had a dark navy colored car and many a time, I would have people slow down and let me pass them, thinking I was a police vehicle. I also got a lot of head turns when driving in this car because it was so sexy.
Pros
I loved the way this vehicle handled. There was a lot of space in it, even though it only sat five. The dog enjoyed being a co-pilot, and even would stick his head out the sunroof while the vehicle was stopped. This car looks sexy and sleek and handles like a dream.
Cons
The backup camera needed to be clearer. The technology has come a long way in the last few years, and I think a camera that could focus more and show a clearer picture would be beneficial to this vehicle.
