The 2014 Jeep Cherokee is a very reliable and capable vehicle with a V6 engine and nice pickup for its size. It's acceleration is one of the best I've seen in a SUV of it's size. I'd estimate it gets 20/30 mpg city/highway mileage. It handles the road great in all sorts of weather too. It's a quiet ride for an SUV and handles well. Perfect family vehicle. Enough space to hold the whole family and then some. It's roomy inside and comfortable to drive. Can comfortably fit 5 people in the vehicle. Comes with child safety locks and car seat hooks as well. The standard factory cloth upholstery is attractive and of high quality. It has a real sleek look to it. This vehicle has everything you could want to include a 6 speaker stereo with a 5 inch touch screen, a USB port, an SD card reader an... (more)
Story
We enjoy geocaching as a past time and this Jeep is excellent for the many various terrains we encounter while doing so.
Pros
4X4, great on all terrains, handles excellent, nice pickup/acceleration for size of engine, back up camera excellent etc.
Cons
The only real con that I have about the 2014 Jeep Cherokee is the headlights. I do not like the shape of them. Other than that I am completely happy with my vehicle.

I OWN A 2004 JEEP CHEROKEE - I PREVIOUSLY HAD A 1997 JEEP CHEROKEE. I LOVED THE POWER AND LOOK OF MY 1997 JEEP SO WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR A NEW CAR I LOOKED AT THE SAME BRAND. ALTHOUGH UPDATED IN LOOKS, THE 2004 VERSION DIDN'T HAVE THE POWER ON THE HILLS THAT THE 1997 HAD - IT ALWAYS LUGGS OUT LIKE IT'S GOING TO STOP. THE INTERIOR ISN'T OF THE SAME DURABILITY AS THE PREVIOUS ONE - THE SEATS STARTED COMING APART AT THE SEAMS WITHIN FOUR YEARS WHICH IS FRUSTRATING AS THERE DOESN'T SEEM TO BE SEAT COVERS FOR THEM. THE MECHANICS IN THE 2004 STARTED GOING OUT WITHIN 8 YEARS, FIRST THE TRANSMISSION, THE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT, THE WHEEL BEARINGS - IT SEEMS THAT ONE THING RIGHT AFTER ANOTHER KEEPS GOING OUT IN IT.
Story
MY JEEP HAS TAKEN ME ON MANY ROAD TRIPS. IT ACCOMMODATES ALL THE PASSENGERS AND LUGGAGE WITH EASE.
Pros
THE JEEP PRODUCT HAS ALWAYS BEEN RELIABLE - IT HAS LOTS OF INTERIOR ROOM AND FITS UP TO FOUR PASSENGERS COMFORTABLY.
Cons
THE POWER PULLING HILLS IN THE NEWER VERSION ISN'T WHAT IT USED TO BE - LUGGS OUT BAD. ALSO THE FACT THAT THE MECHANICS STARTED GOING OUT ONE RIGHT AFTER THE OTHER ONCE IT HIT 95,000 MILES IS FRUSTRATING.

My Jeep caught my eye immediately on the lot. I went right to it. The color is officially "rhino" which is a deep blue, but looks almost gray. The seats are a faux leather and really sleek black with a red stitch all the way around the seams. It drove well and had all the features I had always wanted. Remote start, tinted windows, black rims.
Story
Went to the river and they were working on the road. It had all kinds of ruts in the road. It was a fun, bumpy ride!
Pros
The vehicle performs well on the highway. I feel confident people can see me, and there are no blind spots that I've noticed. Remote start is nice. It drive smooth, especially for a Jeep. It's a comfortable drive, even over a long period of time. The functionality of the climate control is easy to use.
Cons
There is no way to pop the truck from inside! When you're backing up, the wheels feel like they are out of alignment. I've been told it's normal at my last (and first) oil change. Also, it doesn't have a very good "get up and go." it takes it a minute to get going up big mountains.
