Eleven months ago, my area got hit with a pretty funky weather system. The forecasts had sworn to us that we were getting inches and inches of rain with high winds, but we hardly saw the water! On an average day, minimal traffic, the drive to work is 95% highway and roughly 20-30 minutes. Never in my life had I expected to make the drive in an epic tail wind and make the run in 10 minutes! It wasn't exactly pleasant either, with the hydroplaning in such winds that caused unintentional drifting, but man, was it still awesome! That was definitely my best memory with my baby!

Sunrise Boulevard - On Sunrise Boulevard in Sacramento/ Citrus Heights, you can see the good, the bad, and the ugly. You can see a lot of the Sacramento area. Chico is not quite as big as some cities, but does have rush hours. During the busiest times of the day, there is noticeably more traffic. It is well worth it, and be sure to park and walk when you get a chance through the parts that are closed off to traffic.
