The sun was just finally disappearing, and the lights of downtown Springfield were practically sparkling. There was also no traffic, a rarity in the state of Massachusetts. It was a very carefree night, and a fun drive.

Interstate 91 - 391 - I really love freeway driving, and I-91 to I-391 is one of the main highways in the state of Massachusetts. Best advice I can give to someone that hasn't driven there before is to drive carefully because there's a lot of traffic and weird turns people make out of no where. So, just be aware of your surroundings.

I believe the best place to buy a car where they are most consistent and trustworthy is Balise Honda in Springfield. You could go the craigslist route but there's a lot of hidden scams there you have to watch out for. Sure you may get a bigger bang for your buck but assurance is the way to go. This ... My favorite memory from driving in this city is when there was a snowstorm. It was a difficult drive but overall an experience that I wont forget. I was driving and trying to maintain control of my car, but with the snow on the road it became harder and harder to keep it in line. I almost ran into 5 ... (more) other oncoming cars. It was probably the most memorable because afterwards I felt like I nearly died. I ended up taking a rest at the mass pike shortly after, mainly because my heart was racing.

Main Street - This road is particularly great because of all the restaurants near by and stores in the surrounding area.

Take your time before taking turns. Double checking before acting on a left or right turn can ensure you are going to go the correct way the first time. Additionally, be mindful of one ways - there are plenty of them in Springfield.

Cars in Springfield are relatively inexpensive compared to surrounding towns. I have only been to small dealerships where the cars are especially inexpensive, but tend to be older with lots of miles on them.

To be very honest, I don't have any highlights of driving through Springfield. The only time I am feeling entirely comfortable driving through Springfield is via the highway. 91 N/S - The one benefit of Springfield and the highway are the various exits available. For the most part, I can get to most place I need to be in Springfield via 91. An additional perk to Springfield are roads that can easily take you on/off the highway if a traffic jam is to occur.
