I have a beige 2000 Toyota Sienna. I love my car very much. It is over 15 years old and has over 200,000 miles on it. It has been in my life since I was 8 and it has driven all throughout Florida multiple times. From Cooper City to Tallahassee or Orlando or Tampa or St Petersburg, it has always been great. It has also gone all the way to New York. It has had some problems in its later years but I feel like considering all that it's been through, it's really been a great car to have. Even though I did not purchase this car myself, if I had to go back in time and make the decision, I would choose for my family to purchase it again.
Story
My favorite memories in this car were driving to Disney with my mom, dad, and two sisters when I was little. The car was nice and big so it always felt cozy and comfy!
Pros
I love the amount of space which means I can carry a lot of passengers or a lot of cargo. I have been able to move all of my things using this vehicle several times. In fact, because the seats fold down, it makes it really easy to fit things in (even a mattress!) I love the comfort of driving it because I am short and being higher up is always better. It also drives really smoothly. Additionally, it has a power door which is really convenient when you have your hands full and need to get the door open. I feel like all in all, the vehicle has paid for itself over the years.
Cons
Although there are very few things I dislike about the vehicle, I have had a few problems with it. Firstly, the air conditioning started to work not so well. The next thing to go was the power steering fluid pump. When that had to be replaced, the rack and pinion also had to be replaced because it was so "gunked up". I have since had another problem with the power steering fluid pump leaking. And lately, I have been having radiator problems. My car overheated and we realized the radiator was cracked and needed to be replaced. Considering how long it had been in there, I wasn't too surprise... (more)

My Toyota Sienna is a workhorse with over 200,000 miles on it. This minivan was obviously built to last for many years. As long as I keep up with regular maintenance, it continues to start each day and roll on down the highway. It has been in some accidents, and had some neglectful owners, but everything has proven to be fixable. I recently drove from Colorado to northern Washington and back, over mountains, deserts, freeways and gravel roads, and my Sienna did not fail. It's a vehicle I can rely on and feel safe in.
Story
I drove my Sienna to the Pawnee National Wildlife Refuge to look at prairie birds. While on a dirt road, a sudden thunderstorm occurred, which buffeted us with high winds and hail. We parked and watched the clouds and lightning roll across the plains, wondering if we would see Dorothy and Toto ride by on a bicycle. After the storm passed, the road was muddy and slippery, and I worried about ge... (more)
Pros
The best things about the Sienna are: It handles well, even after 200,000 miles It has good acceleration The driver's seat is comfortable, up high, not too big, and very adjustable Mechanics like it -- repairs and maintenance are easy to get done Pretty good gas mileage Plenty of cupholders
Cons
The placement of the radio and radio controls are too low down on the control panel area. This makes it hard to see the station and the buttons while driving.

The Toyota Sienna XLE Limited AWD is a great vehicle for families, allowing them to have fun with their activities, no matter their interests. It has soft, comfortable leather seats, with heating elements in the front drivers and passengers seat to keep you warm on those cold ski slopes. The rear row of seats fold up and are stored flush with the floor, giving plenty of space in the back for hauling capacity. If needed, the second row of seats can also be folded up, and fastened securely in place, or removed completely from the vehicle. This particular model has many other accessories added for your convenience, such as a built in DVD player, sunroof, power sliding doors and power tailgate.
Story
We have used this vehicle several times for hauling things and helping people move. I will occasionally pick up my husband from work on rainy days, and it’s a bit tricky getting his bike in the back, but we seem to manage it just fine.
Pros
We would travel on car trips all the time, so the DVD player would help entertain the kids on long car rides, as well as the CD player. There is also an aux jack for us to connect our devices to play music from them. Another feature I enjoy is the ability to save settings for the drivers seat and side mirrors. I’m short, and my husband is tall, so we constantly have to adjust the position of the seat and mirrors when we switch who is driving. Instead of having to manually adjust these, it’s simply the matter of pushing a button to have them reset themselves to the right position.
Cons
This particular model doesn’t allow for room for a spare tire compartment so to compensate it has run flat tires, which are quite heavy and costly to replace.
